Not everyone can give financially right now, and that's more than okay. Old Glory Rising is being built by everyday Americans, and there are countless ways to plant your flag in this mission without ever opening your wallet.

1. Volunteer Your Time and Talents

Every great American undertaking has been carried forward by willing hands. Whether you can spare an afternoon or a whole season, your time helps turn this vision into reality across Southwest Missouri.

• Help at community events and flag-raising gatherings
• Assist with mailings, outreach, and local awareness efforts
• Offer skilled trades or professional expertise as plans move forward
• Welcome visitors and share the story at local fairs and festivals

Sometimes the most powerful gift is simply telling someone else. Many people in the Ozarks and beyond haven't yet heard that a 700-foot American flag monument, community center, and gathering grounds are being planned right here at home.

Talk about it at church, at the diner, at your next family gathering. Share it with your veterans' group, your school board, your local civic club. Word of mouth built this country, and it can help build this monument too.

Showing up matters. As Old Glory Rising hosts local events, information sessions, and community gatherings throughout Southwest Missouri, your presence adds strength and visibility to the cause.

Bring your kids. Bring your parents. Bring your neighbors. These gatherings are where strangers become fellow builders of something lasting.

5. Consider a Commemorative Brick

For those who are able, commemorative bricks remain a meaningful way to be permanently connected to this project. Each brick is $250 and becomes part of the physical foundation of the gathering grounds — a lasting tribute to a loved one, a veteran, or a family name.

Phase 1 of this journey carries a goal of $250,000, a meaningful step toward the full $51 million vision of the completed monument, community center, and grounds. Every pledge, brick, and hour given moves us closer. Please note that pledges are currently expressions of support, and gifts will become tax-deductible once nonprofit status is finalized.
