Volunteering or Donating — Every Contribution Counts

There is something beautiful about a community that shows up for one another, whether it's with a strong back, a steady hand, or a heartfelt gift. Old Glory Rising was never meant to be built by a few — it was meant to be raised by all of us, together. However you choose to contribute, your part matters more than you know.

Two Paths, One Purpose

Some folks have hours to give. Others have resources they can share. Neither path is more important than the other — they simply meet in the same place: a 700-foot monument to freedom, rising from Southwest Missouri soil, with a community center and gathering grounds for generations to come.

We've met veterans eager to swing a hammer, grandparents who want to see their names etched into something lasting, and families who simply want their children to grow up near a flag that reminds them what this country stands for. Every one of them belongs here.

The Power of Time

Volunteering is one of the purest forms of patriotism. It costs nothing but your presence, and it builds something priceless: community. From clearing gathering grounds to helping at events, spreading the word, or lending a professional skill, volunteers are the heartbeat of this project.

  • Helping prepare and maintain the gathering grounds
  • Welcoming visitors and sharing the story of Old Glory Rising
  • Offering skilled trades — construction, design, logistics
  • Spreading awareness in churches, schools, and local organizations
  • Standing alongside veterans' groups during community events

There is dignity in labor given freely for something larger than yourself. Volunteering roots this project in the people it's meant to serve.

The Power of Giving

Financial support moves this monument from vision to reality. Every dollar brings us closer to breaking ground, pouring foundations, and eventually raising a flag that will be visible for miles across the Ozark hills.

A commemorative brick, priced at $250, is one simple way to be part of the monument forever — your name, or the name of someone you love, placed permanently on the grounds. It's a lasting symbol of your family's role in something historic.

Right now, we're focused on reaching our Phase 1 goal of $2 million, a critical step toward the full $51 million vision of the completed monument, community center, and gathering grounds. Every gift, large or small, moves that needle forward.

A nation is built brick by brick, hour by hour, and heart by heart.

Please note that nonprofit status is still being finalized, so all current contributions are considered expressions of support. Tax-deductibility will apply once that status is officially completed — we'll be sure to keep everyone informed as that milestone is reached.

Why Both Matter Equally

It can be tempting to think a financial gift means more than a volunteer hour, or that only those with resources can truly help. That simply isn't true. This monument will stand because carpenters and clergy, teachers and truck drivers, veterans and schoolchildren all gave what they could.

Some will pour concrete. Some will pour savings. Some will pour prayer. All of it builds the same foundation.

A Shared Legacy

Years from now, when families drive through the Ozarks and see Old Glory rising 700 feet into the sky, they won't ask who gave money and who gave time. They'll simply feel pride — the kind that comes from knowing their community built something that will outlast them all.

That shared legacy is being written right now, one hour and one gift at a time. Your part is needed, however you're able to give it.

If you're ready to be part of this story — whether through your time, your resources, or both — we'd love to have you. Sign Up to Volunteer and help raise this symbol of freedom for generations to come.
