What Is Old Glory Rising?
Old Glory Rising is a Southwest Missouri nonprofit campaign building the world's tallest American flag — a 700-foot flagpole monument, a veteran landmark, and a community center rising in the heart of the Ozarks.

Old Glory Rising is a grassroots campaign to build a permanent American landmark near the Springfield-Branson corridor in Southwest Missouri. At its center is a 700-foot flagpole flying the largest American flag in the world — but the project is far more than a flagpole. It is a veteran landmark, a community center, and a museum and heritage center built to serve the region and honor those who served the nation.
The campaign is organized as a nonprofit. Our 501(c)(3) status is currently pending, and no funds are being collected yet. Supporters can reserve their place today by pledging a commemorative brick; once our nonprofit status and official bank account are in place, we follow up with secure instructions to complete each gift.
The full campaign goal is $51 million. Phase 1 raises the first $2 million through $250 commemorative brick pledges — enough to secure the site, break ground, and launch construction.
